Dakar's Fingerprint Reader is a compact reader unit designed to give a higher degree of security for entry than conventional systems. The reader is compatible with all DakarHR suite of applications used with networked or stand alone controllers.
Using the latest capacitive sensor technology, Dakar's Fingerprint Readers authentication relies upon a fingerprint's unique non-transferable, physical characteristics to provide one of the highest levels of Time & Attendance available. The touch of a fingertip on the capacitive sensor will open the door or accept a punch to an authorized user.
This system reduces initial outlay costs by eliminating the need to issue keys or cards to every user. It is also a more convenient and secure method of entry for the user as they no longer have to carry cards.
The system works by decoding an individual's fingerprint information into a unique code. It does not store a user's fingerprint image.

Because no one can punch for your employees, the Dakar finger print reader eliminates "buddy-punching", increasing payroll accuracy. Several models are available to provide only the features you need at a reasonable cost. Finger print readers can communicate in a variety of ways including, Ethernet (TCP/IP) over a LAN (local area network) or WAN (wide are network), Modem over a regular telephone line, and RS232/RS485 over a Serial Communication Port.
This finger reader allows your employees to switch departments, enter tips, or even view their total daily or pay period hours and even their accrual balances eliminating employee inquires. This reader also allows supervisors to insert punches, make changes all at the reader without having to access the software..
