MULTI-DIMENSIONAL APPROACH

- Multi-company - An unlimited number of company payrolls can be maintained within the same system. This does not only facilitate the operation of the payroll user but also allows management reports to group companies' statistics as necessary.

- Multi-frequency - Within DAKAR HR, a mixture of payroll frequencies, e.g. Monthly, Four Weekly, Fortnightly and Weekly, can be applied to different employees within the same company.

- Multi-lingual - Besides English, DAKAR HR allows a secondary language to be used throughout the system. A large number of screens can show the information in both languages at the same time. Reports can also be issued in the secondary language.
- Multi-currency - Different currency rates can be setup and linked to any employee within DAKAR HR. Payroll reports can also be issued using any currency rate required.

TAX ARREARS

EMPLOYEE LOANS MANAGEMENT

Any loans from the company to its employees can now be managed and automatically deducted from the employees' salary at each payroll run.

FIXED, ONE-OFF OR DAILY ADJUSTMENTS

- Fixed Adjustments - Set up Permanent Pre or Post Tax allowances / deductions for individual employees and these will remain active at each and every payroll run until they are set as inactive by the payroll user.

RECALCULATION OF THE SAME PAYROLL
|

| A payroll user can recalculate a particular payroll for a number of times, either for all the employees or else for a selection of employees. In this way the payroll user will have the facility to adjust any missing adjustments identified after the initial payroll run. Once a payroll run has been finalized and the government reports has been sent, the system can be set to disable the recalculation of that particular payroll. |

HISTORICAL CONCEPT

| Due to the historical concept used within DakarHR, any payroll reports can be issued according to a particular point in time set by the user. I.e. A payroll report which prints the company's total salary bill will give its result according to that particular point in time. This is mainly used for comparative analysis. |

The system calendars allow you to view any piece of employee information from one specific area. In the example below, the calendar is clearly identifying and Punch Cards (overtime, basic hours for part timers, etc) created for Mr Mario Bianchi in a particular year.

OTHER FEATURES

- Company Structure
The company structure is used to assign your employees into different functional areas of the company. Besides Level 1, i.e. Company, the system gives you the flexibility to create up to 15 different Levels. E.g. Level 2 - Department, Level 3 - Section, Level 4 - Division, etc. These 15 different levels can be labelled as necessary according to your company's needs. Within each level, E.g. Level 2 - Department, an unlimited number of functional areas can be created, i.e. unlimited creation of Level 2s, unlimited creation of Level 3s etc. Once the employees have been assigned to their respective Company Structure, any payroll analysis report can be grouped upon any Company Structure Levels created, Grades, Cost Centers, etc.
- Unlimited creation of Salary Grades and Grade Scales
Salary Grades and Grade Scales can be linked to your employees to preset any annual salaries which will apply within your particular company.
- Unlimited creation of Cost Centers
An unlimited number of Cost Centers can be created and allocated to your employees. These Cost Centers are then used in Payroll analysis reports and Accounting packages interfaces to determine and break-down any company costs.
- Unlimited creation of Banks and Bank Branches
Any new banks or bank branches can be created in the payroll clerk by the system user. Furthermore, a Direct Credit Letter Generator also exists to allow the payroll clerk to amend the Bank Direct Credit Letter as preferred.
- Unlimited creation of Overtime Rates
The system also allows you to create any amount of overtime rates which automatically work on the employee's hourly rate
- Unlimited creation of Allowances
The system allows you to create any amount of different Allowances which will then be automatically reflected onto the employee's payslip
- Fringe Benefit Definitions
The system allows the creation and maintenance of any Fringe Benefits which are used within the company.
- Interfacing with Accounting packages
DakarHR interfaces with any accounting package there is in the market. New Exporting Tools built within DakarHR can also cater for any additional different formats which may be required. |
