THE HISTORICAL CONCEPT
ABSENCE MANAGEMENT
|

Maintaining Employee Absence records is an integral part of any Personnel system. Within DakarHR, an unlimited number of Absence Types, e.g. Vacation Leave, Sick Leave, Sick Leave Half Pay, Study Leave, Marriage Leave, etc, can be created by the user and linked to the employees. Besides the standard Company Absence Entitlement which is inherited by all employees, Absence Group Entitlement can be also set which will be applicable to the employees linked to a particular group. However, for one-off exceptions, Absence entitlement can also be set on an individual basis.
The booking and recording of any absence records can be viewed / recorded from an Absence Calendar which is dedicated to each employee.

Selective or all Absence Types can be analysed through the calendar. Any booking of absence can be performed directly from the Absence Calendar.
Any employee absence record can be analysed further through the Employee Absence Record window. |

ORGANISATION CHART

DakarHR allows you to issue the Organisation Chart, either for the whole company or else for a particular company area. Using DakarHR's Point-in-Time facility, the Organisation Chart can go back, or even forward, into a 'time-warp' and issue the Organisation Chart as at that date.

EVENT AND CALENDAR TASKS
|

Through the use of Event or Calendar tasks, any repetitive functions can be completely automated. E.g. Upon employment of each new employee, a number of tasks have to be performed. Some of these are to:
- Issue a Welcome Letter to the new employee
- Issue an Employee Identification Card
- Issue a Contract Letter for the employee to sign
- Fill in the Government Engagement Form
- Send an email to the General Manager
- Issue a Training Induction Programme for the employee's position
- Issue Additional Training Needs Analysis Report
- Send Salary information to the Payroll Department
- Send an email to the Department Manager about the new employee
- Issue a Probation Letter a few months after the employment
All these functions and much more can be set up once within DakarHR and will automatically update each user's diary with the appropriate actions to be performed (report to be issued to Mr Smith, Email to be sent to Mr White, etc). Once a particular action is triggered, the system will actually perform the required tasks for you. Event and Calendar Tasks save a lot of precious time to any DakarHR users.
