The DakInet Web Portal is a tool that integrates seamlessly with the DakarHR suite of
applications. This innovative system allows any information stored within ANY module of Dakar HR to be accessed via the internet/intranet through a standard Windows web-browser from anywhere around the world. The viewing and amending of information is performed in real-time mode and therefore immediately reflect on the information in Dakar HR.
This means, if presently a company doctor is calling at the offices to collect sickness reports and employee addresses, with the introduction of the DakInet Web Portal, the doctor can now log directly into the Dakar HR system from his/her office via a Web-Browser and access the sickness reports on-line in real-time.
Sickness investigations can also be inserted by the doctor from his/her office without the need to visit the company to perform these tasks.
Employees can be given the option to book and view leave from home. Authorisations of leave bookings can also be made by Management on-line from anywhere in the world.

User Defined Menus, Screens and Popups
There is no need to know web-technology or any other coding in order to create and maintain your Web User Interface. The DakInet product offers you powerful tools that allow the system user/administrator to create and update the web-interface in seconds. The Dakinet tool interface is easy-to-use and the user can create menus, screens, popup-lists and security which will automatically be uploaded onto the company's web page.
Access rights and security
An unlimited number of groups of users can be created through the DakInet interface.
These groups of users can then be given full access to all the information or else limited at:

Record / Key level - A user is given access only to a limited number of employees, e.g. all employees working within his department, having his same grade, etc.
Online Reporting
An online report-writer is also available where the users can design and issue their own reports online. These reports reflect the latest updated information withheld with the Dakar HR.
